Lafayette and the Acadiana area is fortunate to have a Bar Association dedicated to public service. The Lafayette Bar Association and Lafayette Bar Foundation support numerous programs aimed at serving those who cannot afford legal representation. In addition, the LBA hosts Counsel on Call each Friday morning where volunteer attorneys are available for 15 minute question and answer sessions for anyone seeking guidance through the court system or with other legal questions. Davidson Meaux is grateful to all attorneys who honor the profession by volunteering to handle cases pro bono and otherwise dedicating time and resources to serving the underserved.
