Christopher “Chris” B. Ortte, is a native of Lafayette, Louisiana who joined Davidson Meaux in 2017. Chris has developed a diverse practice since joining Davidson Meaux, encompassing a variety of legal matters enabling him to serve a broad spectrum of clientele. Much like his practice, Chris has a wide array of past work experiences that have brought him from roustabouting in the Gulf of Mexico to Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. These diverse experiences have allowed him to connect with clients on many different levels.

Aside from the practice of law, Chris is passionate about many things, not the least of which is his family, his faith, the requisite hunting and fishing in South Louisiana, horseback riding, as well he is an avid musician and supporter of the arts. Most of all, Chris has a great passion for the people of Acadiana and looks forward to the daily challenge of serving their needs.
